We have so many memories it's difficult to pick out just one or two.  So I will share with you my most recent visit from Candy.  A few days after you left this world I was standing outside my house on the curb you know where we park all the cars.  I felt something land on shoulder so without looking ,I tried swatting it away thinking at the time it was some bug or something equally annoying.  It was apparent that whatever it was, was staying this is when I noticed a small blue and white with purple stripes parakeet sitting there looking at me.  I walked into the house and into my sister's bedroom the parakeet still where she had landed.  My sister and her friend also tried to coaxe the little bird from my shoulder the more they tried the closer the bird came into my neck.  Finally it was obvious that the parakeet had no intention of leaving the spot she was in.  Which would have been just like Candy to do whatever she pleased when she pleased.  I believe with all of my heart that this was Candy's way of saying goodbye.  I love you and miss you more each day.

We always seemed to have fun no matter what it was we did. Rather we were scraping, looking for rocks, or whatever, it was always an adventure. The only thing I can think of she loved more than her rocks were her tools. Always there to help those animals that were in need of love and care like "lucky" the horse with some really bad issues. Candy you will always be in my thoughts, and definately in my heart. AND BY THE WAY NO REDECORATING HEAVEN WITH ZEBRA STRIPES!!!!

She was always ready to go out and look for geodes and other cool rocks. No matter what the weather she was willing to hike around in the desert mountains for the coolest rocks we could find.
